Contentious and non-contentious patent litigation
Virginia advises French and international clients on all areas of intellectual property law. Specialising in patent litigation she acts on behalf of clients from various sectors such as telecommunications, media, aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Virginia has 10 years’ experience in patent litigation, most of which is cross border. Virginia speaks English and French.
Virginia’s substantive experience in patent litigation has seen her contribute to industry leading industry publications where she has produced a series of thought leadership articles on the nuances of IP law in relation to topical business challenges. Recent contributions from her include:
- co-authoring articles in Thomson Reuters Transactive and the IRPI’s (French Intellectual Property Research Institute) as part of an Intellectual Property review in which she has published a doctrine on the question of “What trade secret protection is there when it comes to civil cases?“
- as an active member of the Intellectual Property Protection International Association (AIPPI ) Virginia has contributed to study questions such as Second medical use or second medical indication claims and Trade secrets: Overlap with restraint of trade, aspects of enforcement
